Customising an EMS Beauty Device: OEM, ODM and Private-Label Options
EMS is the easiest beauty category to customise, because most of what the user feels is software. Where the limits of a private-label programme actually sit.
EMS beauty devices are the most customisable products in the beauty range, for a straightforward reason: most of what the user experiences is firmware. Waveform shape, frequency sequence, ramp behaviour and session structure are all code, and changing them costs almost nothing.
Physical customisation follows the usual rules: housing colour and finish, electrode layout within existing tooling, packaging, manual and accessory set. Because the electronics are low power compared with IPL, tooling changes are cheaper and faster to validate.
The limit is the output stage. Changing the amplitude ceiling means a different drive circuit, and increasing channel count changes the enclosure. Both are genuine engineering projects rather than configuration, and both invalidate the existing safety file.
The underused opportunity is the programme itself. A device shipping with a twelve-week protocol, a schedule card and progress tracking pulls ahead of one shipping with a single button, at identical hardware cost. Buyers should establish what the platform already supports before commissioning new tooling.
Aolemon runs OEM, ODM and private-label programmes on its EMS and micro-current platforms from Hangzhou, with configurable waveform firmware as standard. Tell us the market and the programme you intend to sell, and we will say what it requires.
