The UAE is a forgiving place for business, but it is a brutal testing ground for electronics. The climate punishes poor thermal design, the multicultural population punishes bad sensors, and strict customs punish sloppy paperwork. If you engineer your beauty device to survive the hottest day in Abu Dhabi, adapt to the widest range of skin tones, and pass the strictest certification process, you end up with a product that is simply better everywhere else. Build for the harshest conditions, and the average conditions take care of themselves. That is the only design philosophy that lasts.
